I stopped in thinking it was just a coffee spot, but it’s also a quirky gift shop with lots of local-made goods. The lavender latte was smooth and not overly sweet, and they serve it in sturdy ceramic mugs if you’re staying. Seating can fill up around lunchtime, but I still found a cozy corner by the window. Staff was genuinely chatty and gave me a couple of Downey tips. Parking is easiest in the structure behind the store

The new location is great! Bigger bar for their coffee and pastries, and more room for their shop. They have a nice outdoor patio, and the decor keeps getting a little less sterile and more inviting as time goes on.

This place is awesome! It has a ton of fun local sports gear- Let's go, Dodgers!!! And pretty much a gift for anyone you may know, from children's clothing and books to cooking items. They also have a coffee shop inside which was super tasty. 😋 Check them out! …

Lovely small business with an excellent coffee shop towards the back of the store. Enjoyed a matcha latte and then admired everything for sale from fabulous books, super soft t-shirts, and colorful soaps. A great place for local holiday shopping. Bonus: discounted coffee drinks on early Monday mornings!

I love this little gem of a coffee shop. It also has a gift shop inside that is so fun to explore. I’ve gone several times and every time I walk out with something adorable and cute and with the best coffee drink! My favorite is the Spanish latte. My favorite server is Luke. He is always helpful, attentive and kind. All the employees there are awesome. Looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped by as it was highly recommended while visiting the Whittier area. Very nice small business with friendly staff who immediately greeted me upon walking in. Also, while shopping, many staff members offered assistance. The store was very unique that seemed to support other small, local businesses by carrying their products. It was fun just walking down the different aisles looking at the wide range of products from clothes, pet items, funny shirts/socks, plants, gadget items, household items, etc... There was also a nice coffee shop in the back, but I was already full from breakfast. Ended up buying a few items for myself and also a few gifts. I'm also going to order a few items online that were great custom-made gift ideas. I'll definitely stop by again when visiting Whittier.

Excellent place to shope for gifts for others and yourself. After coming here for years, the shop does a fantastic job of keeping the shop feeling fresh, and up to date. Merchandise and the layout of the shop changes throughout the months, which is very nice. Best of all, my favorite, is the coffee shop. It's so delicious. Sweet Bee is my favorite latte. The vegan donuts are surprisingly delicious.

I saw this spot on Google and I was nearby, so I checked it out. A solid spot for a breakfast drink with a chill/shopping vibe. I thought it was just a cafe but ended up being a Whittier themed shop with lots of other gift type items. A solid spot for coffee with lots of unique shopping items like the ones pictured in my review. A great selection of Dodger items and themed stance socks along with other humorous items. I got a matcha latte was delicious with excellent flavor and the right temperature. Customer service was also great and pleasant. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

Local Fixture is my favorite store in the world. I love the fact that their inventory constantly changes. Their cook book selections are top tier. It's a great place to find unique and odd items. They also have an excellent selection of men's grooming/ styling products and my wife loves their perfume selections. I miss the feel of the old location but the people and products are great as ever. 100% check it out if you're in the area.
